I guess I don't see how this program is for the "rich" unless you consider middle class rich. The truly poor can't afford a new car and the rich really don't make their purchases based upon trading in their old clunker (which is most likely a year or two old BMW), let alone a rebate.<br>

The "poor" don't pay taxes, so they are not footing the bill. The rich and the middle class pay the taxes in this country, along with the oil companies, private utilities and other businesses. <br>

Around here one can build a stick building for less than a steel clad pole barn now. Wasn't that way when I built mine. I would go with the stick built now.

Welcome, I used to visit that other site. Long time ago.

Lawn Boy; mine just quit after thirty-two years. Used it at my last place to mow about a half acre of lawn but it has been just a trim mower here. After the drive shafts wore completely bare it was more like power assist than self propelled.

In 2000 I purchased a new Ariens walk behind and used the green machine for backup. That lasted until this spring when the differential locked up. Sooo, I fired up the Lawn Boy and it fired itself right back off. Spark is gone, will attempt trouble shooting this winter. I sure miss the two stroke engines for that application. Now will see if this new Honda will last longer than the Ariens.

I quit purchasing "consumer" grade equipment a long time ago. My rider is a zero turn Gravely 260Z, trimmer is a new Honda (gulp, the Lawnboy died after only 22 years) and my chainsaw is a Stihl, to name a few.

Point was made by a couple of others above, the lower end stuff is just that. It should cut decent for its lifespan, may be a blade issue. My neighbor's Murry was delivered with the blades on backwards (15 years ago). Man did that cut lousy :)

Mine shakes around quite a bit, wouldn't really call it vibration but due to those axe type blades swirling in there it can make the thing wobble a bit.

Not my spring it seems.

Started mowing the fields today, tractor running fine. Stopped to help boss unload groceries and the tractor wouldn't start, dead battery. Tried to jump it, no luck. I always watch the gauges and recall it was charging fine, not to mention that the battery was strong upon initial start.

Checked the voltage, 10V. Grabbed a spare, threw it in and she fired right up....then died, starved for fuel. Cleaned fuel bowl and tried again, no luck. Cleaned jets and now she is fine. Been having that trouble since E10, can't wait for the E-15.

A thinking person needs to be prepared to take care of themselves and their loved ones in an emergency. I believe in redundancy, if I have food stored and the store has food to sell, life is good for all. When that thin thread breaks, so goes the rule of law.

The "dependent" population of today has very little moral fortitude, that is inherent in a segment of society raised on public handouts with little regard for hard work or the property of others. Those destroyed lives are handy for those in power, the votes are security for them.

Just as an FYI, "automatic" weapons are not available for ownership by the general public, they have been controlled by the government since the early 1900's. Typically, the media will substitute "automatic" for "semi-automatic" in an attempt to demonize hunting and sporting rifles. The same rifle I use for skeet shooting.
