what types of light should purchase. Would a Kubota dealer carry such lights.

I would like to get other peoples option on the pluses or minuses of wearing the seat belt. This past weekend I was working with a friend and he came close to tipping his tractor. The fact that he was not wearing the belt, he was able to jump to one side and put more weight on the upper side to avoid the tractor from tipping. We got into a discussion about the advantages of not wearing a seat belt if the tractor started to tip... ie: being able to jump off the tractor as it was falling over. Although I am a safty nut, I had to agree that I feel somewhat restrained wearing the belt. The few occasions that I have encountered with feeling like the tractor might tip, I have wondered if wearing the belt would cause more harm if I was strapped to the tractor.<br>
I know the seat belts are installed for safty so there must have been some studys done.. but just wordering what other people think.

After hours of research, I think in narrowed it down between the Echo 751 or the Redmax 8000. Both are very pricy but I want something that will really blow leaves. The Redmax seems like a slightly better machine but the few dealers here in Connecticut want an arm and leg for it. Does anyone know of both Echo and Redmax dealers that are willing to ship to Connecticut and would have a reasonable price. Any suggestions on what machine I should purchase.

Thanks for all of the info. I am surprised that there is not some kind of shield to protect the tractor hood from being damaged from things falling off the back end of the loader. Whenever you lift the loader up high to dump, you run the risk of things falling over. Maybe I just try to baby the tractor too much! My wife always tells my that the Kubota comes before her.

That's about I paid with the extra tooth. They work great for picking up brush and logs that are larger than my bucket.

I believe that the battery type number is 015 with a cold cranking performance of 350 amps. The problem I have with other batteries is the size. They will not fix into the battery holder. When Kubota built these tractors they wanted to make sure that you can only use a Kubota battery.

Thanks for the info. I have contacted a number of dealers and was told that it would be a special order and would take a few months to get. They suggested that I try to located one that maybe a new owner of a BX would want to sell if they are not using it. I will be driving the tractor through the woods and figure that the grate would help protect the front lights. Mark, if you know of one available, please let me know.

For your information. I looked at both tractors in detail. My first thought was to purchase the B7500 but after going through a thought pattern, I end up purchasing the BX tractor. Why... mostly do to the difference in price. I felt that the BX could do everything the B7500 could do at a lot lesser price.

I have a John Deere 5B sprayer that I am told needs a new pump. Part # AB10749 Does anyone know where or who I might contact to get this part. The sprayer is an older one but looks like new. I would hate to have to throw the sprayer away for lack of a pump. Thanks for all of your help.

Thanks for all of your help. Now I have to make another decision. I came across a BX1800 with loader that is available for sale. We have not discussed price but it is certainly an option, if the price is right. Any thoughts on what would be a good price for this machine would be. Approx. 1 1/2 years old. I know the resale value will be less since, it does not handle a backhoe attachment. Any help would be most appriciated.
