I have a 1982 Shibaura SD1540 4X4 diesel and I need to find out where to buy a piston and rings.I also need a head gasket,or is there another tractor that uses the same size piston.<br>

I thank all of you for your help
The white smoke is coming out of the vent hose in the valve cover.
The motor runs same as usally just a little on the power.
I usded with no problems shut it off started up two hours later white smoke is coming out the vent hose.
I put my hand on the hose where the white smoke is coming out I don't fell much vapor.

I have the same tractor and I was told when I got mine that the Hydraulic pump was bad. the more research I did I found out It was not the hyd. pump It was the valve under the seat in the reaend housing (mine was on the right side under the seat area).I cleaned the valve out and readjusted it and now it works great.
