My Kubota B5200,B6200 & B7200 Workshop Manual,page M.1.1, illustration 0319F018, indicates a slight bump or crown on the rear mating surfaces of the Clutch Release Fork legs. The crown should be facing toward the transmission or rear of the assy. Check the illustration in the WSM carefully.

I have just purchased a used T30-142 Befco "Till-Rite" Tiller and now I need to find an Operator/Maintenance Manual for it. I have downloaded the parts/assembly manual from the Befco site and have requested the operator manual from Befco but have not heard from them. Anyone have any ideas where to find a manual for this unit?

There is a company in Texas that deals in "grey market" equipment. A good search should turn it up. Could be a source for parts. Also, there is a cross reference list for the relationship between Kubota "Standard US" model numbers and "grey market" equipment that can be used to order the correct part(s) you need from a US Kubota dealer. The grey B1402 could be a US B6200 in disguise.

A landscape rake without gauge wheels is not very useful. When used for dressing the shoulders of a gravel driveway, after a winter of snowplowing, the tilt and height adjustments, using the gauge wheels, enable you to keep from ripping up sod or gouging into the lawn.
Also, you do not need to depend on the 3 point to maintain the proper height for the rake and unless you have a separate hydraulic tilt control on the 3 point, you cannot maintain a good angle or slope for the shoulders. The gauge wheel adjustments allow you to do that.

Try to find a cargo van with a headache cage in it at a salvage yard. These cages are usually made out of a square tube framework with expanded mesh. They are used in delivery / work vans to protect the driver. With a little work any of these could be cut to fit the purpose on FEL's. I have one salvaged from a Ford E-150 work van that I plan to mount on my B6200 w/ B1460 FEL, to do exactly what you want to do, when I am clearing brush, etc.

I have a B6200, bought in Sept.'05, which required a new hydraulic pump to keep the FEL operational. Art White was very helpful and Ronnie Bowman linked me into the online manuals for the B6200. The tractors are very similar. The transmission case holds the hydraulic fluid and there is a small dipstick near the gear shift for checking the fluid level. The hydraulic oil filter is in the side of the tranny, at the end of the suction line to the pump. Check the manual. If the pump seals are shot,as mine were, the fluid will leak into the crankcase and will over fill it. DO NOT run the engine with hydraulic fluid in the CC. If hydraulic fluid is in the CC,then you need to change the CC oil and filter before operating engine again. Tractor Supply (TSC) has filters and fluid.

Art,
Repaired pump w/all kubota parts.(A real pain to remove/install). Old seal(1)& "O" rings (6)were shot. Gears & shafts looked good, except main drive driven gear from engine had some wear on teeth. All parts fit good,no play. After 20+ hrs use, shaft seal seems to have failed. Lost hydro oil into crankcase again. Is it possible that pressure is too high? Is there a method to test pressure? Is there a pressure relief valve or adjustment for this? Your opinion?

Can someone explain how to safely remove the B1640 loader from the B6200D tractor? I do not have an owner/operators manual, but have obtained an assembly/parts printout. The printout shows 2ea "stand, upright". I only have 1. A decal on the loader has directions for removing and mentions "braces". What else am I missing? Where can I find an operators manual for this 20+ year old equipment?
