Thanks for the reply! My TC30 is the hydro model which should work just fine for "easing" into some heavy snow. I'm contemplating stepping up to a larger tractor like the TC45DA. I've been doing a lot of snow removal lately and a little more power would be nice. I use the FEL in conjunction with a box blade on the back end for dragging snow away from tight spots. Don't get me wrong, the TC30 is a real little workhorse but you know how it goes, bigger is usually better!

Any of you checked out the Erskine 3 point mount PULL (not push) behind snowblower? I'm considering that option over a front mount snowblower because I would like to keep my FEL! Maybe the only problem would be driving over real deep snow, I guess that could be alleviated by lowering the FEL and shaving some snow off!

Hey DK35vince, I have been reading your posts and I have also been looking real hard at the Kioti DK35 tractor. As with most of the manufacturers, there is a breaking point in their lineup! I've noticed a big difference in the CK30 and the DK35. Kubota separates the "men from the boys" when they go up to their Grand L series as well.

Are you still happy with your DK35? I've been wondering what the "noticeable" difference is between the HST models and the gear models...........I don't mind shifting!

Probably the best price I have found going for the horsepower dollar is the Kioti and Mahindra tractors. When I buy, it will be one of the two. The Kubota L3130 and L3430 are really awesome tractors...........but are they worth the extra price? The John Deeres's are lightweight and over priced in my opinion.

I plan on doing a lot of snow removal in the winter (wet heavy snow in southeast Alaska) and landscaping in the summer. Seems the DK35 might be a better way to go over the CK30 HST for heavy jobs. What do you think?

Has anybody checked out the new Deere's? I'm looking at the 3120, 3320 and 3520. It looks like they have "beefed" them up over the previous models.

No, I haven't considered a cab because I think it would inhibit its ability to get into tight places.

Also, I know the front mount snowblowers are more money; I've spent enough years on a tractor seat looking around behind me and have acquired a "farmers shoulder" that I don't want to do that any more! Thanks for your input!

bluetay, sounds kind of odd? I'm new here to small tractors but in the old days, we always greased the splines on large pto implements before operation for ease of sliding them on/off and for some shock cushion. Is Kioti offering some sort of plastic sleeve attachment?
