Need help please. Looking to buy a Kubota L433, 853 loader, BH90 hoe, or a TC 40da New Holland with a LA16 loader, and a 758c hoe. Any info on either machine would be appricitated. I like the 2 seperate pedals and the electronic dual power shift of the new holland. On the kubota, i like the bigger hoe and longer reaches of the loader and hoe. please, any info or ideas would be helpfull.

Hey, I have the opposite problem. I am buying a B6200 with loader and mover and it has the Turf tires. Do I need to buy new Wheels for it in order to put Ag tire on? The Ag tires look to be more narrow in the rear. Where is the best place it get them in New England.

Art, Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, I don't have a welder, nor am I familiar with how the orginal mounting brackets would go on the tractor.
If, you would have any other suggestions to help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

well, i bought the tractor with 12x12, ind tires, loader hd bucket, rear work lights, foldin rops and paid 19,873 with tax. they would not come down any more and said that was there best offer. the next best dealer was 1100 more expensive i have to wait a week and half for delivery they didn't have any in stock thanks for the help while making this decision. brian mid MI.

This is my first qoute I am comparing the T40 with the 990 JD. I like them both. It is going to come down to the price on which one I purchase I was quoted 18402 with loader only, gear drive. The only thing is i am not sure if I mentioned bar tires or R4

this will be the first new tractor purchesed. I have all the attachments that I will be using so right now I am only looking to buy the 990 and 430 loader with tire ballast. and a rear work light. Just curious and have one quote from mid summer of about 19000 inclucing tax. this had bar tires on it I can use bar or r4 it doesn't matter. I am looking in mid michigan area. I am just curious how much to cut below the dealers price quotes? Thanks

Jim, this spring I purchased a LandPride 2072 flail for my compact tractor and have found it more than willing to eat through grass ranging from four foot to four inches tall. The only complaint I have with the flail is unless the grass is bone dry, it gets deposited in clumps thick enough to smother whatever is under them. I was told by my dealer that flails mulch the grass into very fine clippings and "windrowing" wouldn't be a problem. I do like the small size of the flail as it takes up far less room than its rotary counterpart.......

I purchased a coleman 5000W genarator at an estate auction a few months back,
the carb was hanging on the frame by a peice of wire and the motor is shot.
the bid was only 40.00 so i figured what the heck it'll be something to tinker with. i was gonna put a new motor on it but after reading a few of the post i am thinking about making a pto unit out of it. what would be involved in this as for as parts and cost go. i have a yanmar 1500 to put it on and would use it for fence work and work around the barn and riding arena.

One more thing.....I am in Colorado. Also, I know you said it will only pull out up to 4" stumps, I can live with that. I will just have to keep plugging away at the bigger ones in another fashion. Thanks again.

I bought from WAY out of state. I am in Colorado, and I purchased out of Tennessee. Could not have been happier with the entire deal. I too concur with many who say support your local dealer, but my local dealer was not willing to deal in any way, shape or form, so I looked to spend my hard earned money elsewhere. There is nothing wrong with that in any respect. Anyhoo.....I ultimately saved upwards of 4000 samolians on my purchase and even got some extra goodies to boot (boxblade, tire ballast, fold-down ROPS). The shipping on my unit in excess of 1400 miles was approximately 900 bucks, yours may be less depending on your location. I also escaped sales tax, but even if you pay it in Tennessee, it is only 1% I believe. I have included the URL to the dealer I made my purchase through, and the manager and gentleman I dealt with exclusively is David Bowman. He is a great guy and will tailor a deal just for you. David and I still correspond through e-mail regularly, and I still purchase items from him because of the way I was treated by him and his dealership. I have a JD455 with all wheel steer and use a JD blade to help clear 5 acres of woods in my back yard. Granted, it's not a compact utility tractor, however it does a nice job moving the soil if you're patient. I usually back drag with the blade in the lowered position and the front wheels off the ground. With all wheel steer you can direct the tractor with the rear wheels. It works best when the soil is dry. In wet soil it doesn't have enough traction to do a good job. I mow my lawn, snowblow the driveway, grade my woods, and even run a PTO generator with my tractor. Not bad for a tractor that will fit in my two car garage without leaving one of the vehicles outside.

Looking for some price and hour feedback on a 1994 Kubota 2150 HST, 4WD, Turf, 776 hours, w/ loader and 60

Is the price reasonable?
Are these hours reasonable for a 5 year old tractor?
Is the 2150 a good tractor? I know that it has since been improved to be the 2710.
Is having only 1 pump at 7.4 GPM a major problem when operating the loader and power steering at the same time?
FYI...this will be used on 5.5 acres for cutting grass, landscaping, etc.

A dealer told me to use 'Off Road' Diesel because the sulfur content help lubricate the engine. A book I read about my tractor (it was wrong in at least two other places) said not to use 'High Sulfur' Diesel, as the acid formed during combustion would corrode the engine parts. I've been using 'High Sulfur' in the tractor, purchased from a Mobil distributor. When I asked what grade the 'High Sulfur' fuel was, he said he didn't know. (I've heard there are two 'grades' of diesel, d1 & d2 or something like that.<br>I'm thoroughly confused. What should I use in my tractor? Its a John Deere.

I've purchased a used MFWD 850 and ordered manuals through John Deere Publications. Is there any way to lubricate the front axel pivot pin on this thing? There are no grease fittings I can see, although the owners manual (which is for 850 and 950's) says to apply grease through the fittings. <br>I've checked every reference I can find, and none show how to lubricate the MFWD 850 without fittings. Do I have to take out the pin and drop the axel to grease it?
