Dig post holes up to 9" or 12" diameter, 3 feet deep?

Rotary till up to 6" deep?

Crown a gravel road with box blade?

Do chipping/shredding with another vendor's attachment?

The only thing hanging me up on buying the GC2310 is the question whether its 3PH is a full Cat 1.

Kubota (BX23) advertises Cat 1 but I have seen seveal posts that say it isn't so. John Deere (JD2210) advertises a "limited" Cat1.

I would really like to know definitively whether the GC2310 has the real deal, hitchwise.

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

The exact size is a 0-1 for all of the sub-compacts to the best of my knowledge. It is not that full cat 1 won't work it just is a larger frame. ....

I have not driven a GC2310 but I have owned its Kubota equivalent. It will do all the jobs you outlined.

Just make sure the implements fit your hitch before you plunk down the money for them. Be especially cautious of rear grader blades.

The "limited" part of the hitch refers to its maximum lift height, not the power or the arm spread. ....

I believe the 3 tractors mentioned (GC2310, BX23, & JD2210) are all rated with a "limited" cat 1 3PH.
As someone else mentioned, the "limit" is more to do with the max. height the 3PH will raise an implement.
This is due to a combination of the tire sizes used, and the length of the lift arms.
One piece of equipment which would be affected by this would be a post hole auger. You may be limited in the length of auger that will clear the ground in the raised position - thus the depth of hole you can make. ....

I have used a post hole digger and it works pretty good or as expected 8" hole and about 4ft just dont go nuts and stop when you find a large rock.
one major issue with this thing is the hydrostatic drive oil filter placement this thing is in a piss poor spot and I have already broken mine off and there is no easy fix the transmission needs to come out of the tractor and the front pump housing needs to be replaced for $450.00 parts and 7 hours labor if your lucky. the part is cast aluminum and does not like to play rough at all.this filter hangs out in the open and under the tractor and it should not.
has anyone else had this problem ??? ....

The other day I used my GC2300 with a regular Cat I King Kutter 5' disk. I have this disk to use with my '48 John Deere M but I wanted to see how the little tractor would handle it. As expected, the lift height was fairly low and the disks cleared the ground by just a few inches. Power was for sure not a problem but in soft ground where the disk sank in deeper the traction was marginal, even with 4WD and bar tires. Raising the disk slightly in these areas eliminated the traction problem. Since I have a larger tractor, I will not do a lot of heavy drawbar work like this with the GC, but then again you won't see me mowing my lawn with the old JD, either.
For what it is worth, King Kutter and other brands have dedicated products built for sub-CUT's that are made to work with the limited hitch lift height. The sub-CUT disk that King Kutter offers is nearly the same as mine but has smaller blades and a lowered hitch which should make it pull a bit easier. ....
