I have had my 4110 now for 6 weeks now and love and keep finding more things to do with it. On Sunday I hooked my loader back to the tractor with some trouble. The day was hot and the bottom two connection would not slide into to the female part of the connection. I had to hit the in on the male end to relase the preasure. Then it went in fine. Is this because of the expanding oil from the heat and is there a better way to release the presure? Thanks for any help you all might have
Roger.

The pressure could have increased as you mentioned due to temperature change or the FEL may have settled a bit after removal and caused a little pressure build up. I have my 430 FEL off now and it seemed to settle just a tad after I removed it. I would be careful how you hit the male end fittings; I would suggest a rubber or wooden mallet so as not to dent or damage the surface of the QD's. ....

Relieving the pressure before removing the hoses and storing implements in the shade minimizes the problem. My loader hose QD's are male and I seldom need to do more than wrap a QD in a rag and push the ball against a tire. I do put my loader in float and then work the bucket valve both directions to relieve the pressure but I guess you can't do that with a joystick. If the bucket isn't completely flat is will re-pressurizes the lift lines when it settles. High-pressure QD's are available but expensive. ....

As always good infromation from all of you here, thanks. I will keep a eye on the level of the bucket and check into the T and Ball. Thanks again.
