Have been offered 2000 Terramite T9 for $10.5k with 200 hours, in perfect shape. $29k new, 4600lb, hydro, 4wd, Perkins 31.5hp diesel with 10ft backhoe, 6100lb breakout and 2300lb loader.
I need either this or the L3130 to dump dirt around foundation, clear area to build an additional implement garage, landscape, put in new septic lines, etc. With the 3130 I would sell the B7100 and get a ZTR to mow. With the Terramit I would keep the 7100 to mow. The T'mite seems to have it all over the 3130 in price and capacity. Thoughts?

I've heard homeowners rave about Teramites they've rented for single jobs. If I'm not mistaken the BH is not easily removable. For the long haul, I insist on the option of 3 pth. Can't beat the versatility. If the 7100 has 3pth maybe you're all set. ....

Thanks Andy. I have decided to go with the Terramite over the 3130. My old 7100 has a 3pth and I have a rear blade and post hole for it. The Terramite is a dedicated TLB. Like most dedicated machines its capabilities are far greater than attachments on the 3130. Also the dealer keeps telling me that if I keep it well, the Terramite could be sold for at least what I paid for it in two years. Looking on eBay, I believe him. ....
