I can't remember that last time I was this excited!!!!
After a year of researching I finally took the plunge and made the purchase. It's going to be a long wait until Thursday (when the tractor is being delivered!) I bought the following:
--Kubota 3430 HSTC (hydrostatic tractor with cab) w/R4 industrial tires
--Kubota 723 FEL w/quick attach option
--Woods RD7200 Finish Mower
--Woods 72" Box Blade
The total cost including all taxes was $24,722. Seemed to be a great deal to me--what does everyone else think?

I do feel like a kid all over again!
I apologize for not writing more yesterday--I was headed out the door but wanted to share the "good news". Most of all, I wanted to thank everyone on this forum for their input. I had no idea what to buy, what to look for, what things to consider, etc., etc., and everyone has been very patient and willing to share advice. THANK YOU!
I also want to send a special thanks to Murf for resolving the loader control concern re:the cab tractors. I thought my dream of the "perfect" tractor for me was out the window, but the info he gave me made it a reality again!
I'll be sure and keep everyone up-to-date on how the tractor does as time goes by--if I can take time off the tractor enough to do it!

Congrats Jonathan, I'm only too happy to help out and glad it was of some assistance in getting the machine spec.'ed out the way you wanted it.
BTW, don't forget the digital camera, remember a picture is worth a thousand words, so save yourself all that typing, LOL.

They had to special order the loader controls, so the tractor isn't arriving until today (Friday). I'll be sure and take lots of pics over the weekend!!! ....

I finally have some pics up!!!! I hate they have to be so small--you can barely make anything out in them.
A few comments about my new tractor. First, it is simply ***awesome***!!! If anyone is looking for a tractor that is considering a cab, DO NOT hesitate to get it! It didn't get in the way a single bit--the FEL was the biggest hurdle to get around, and it wasn't that bad (and in the pics you'll see my front yard with all the trees). The cab was such a luxury--all the dust and debris flying around, and with little particles hitting the back of the glass I can only imagine the mess I would have been in! Add to this the fact that my lower woods area is covered in briars that I no longer have to worry about, it just added up to sheer pleasure!
As for a pull behind finish mower, I'm SOOOO glad I didn't get a MMM. I'm sure they have their place, but if you have to get around obstacles I think a MMM would be something you definitely *don't* want. I have never seen a mower give such a beautiful cut, and if I had a MMM I simply could not have goten so close to everything. The RFM with the HST is a lethal combo! As for scalping, even without the front anti-scalp wheel I only "bottomed out" once on the whole 3 acres of mowing. With the little irregularities on my property, I can't imagine how anyone's yard could be worse. Anyway, this surprised me quite a bit.
I've tried no other implements except for the FEL, and I must say I'm glad I went with the Kubota. It has a 500 lb capacity advantage over the 1012 Woods loader, and it really shows. Combined with the safe feeling of the cab, I was pushing brush piles up 10-12 feet high for burning, and the FEL didn't hiccup one bit. I even pushed two veeeeeeeery large fallen trees out of the bottom pasture area (about 15" diameter pine trees roughly 50 feet long) so I could mow again. The only time I almost lost power was trying to push over a fairly large stump. Reminder to self--this is not a bulldozer!
Lastly, someone told me that causing a diesel engine to go dead is very, very bad for it. Is this true?? I came close once (as mentioned above) and definitely don't want to hurt my tractor.
Anyway, what a weekend! ....

Now how did I know you were going to have soooooo much fun with that machine.
I had some 'gee I'm glad I have a cab fun' too this weekend, a neighbour got their one ton dump truck stuck in a manure pile while dumping a 'fresh load' off. Since the weather has been pretty warm recently and the pile had JUST been turned over for the first time this year, it was a little , err, ummm, aromatic. I told him I would pull him out, but I was staying in the cab wih the A/C on. By the time he got the truck chained up and I got him out he was crying, and I don't think it was from the joy of getting the truck unstuck.
I also don't think he waited long to hose it or himself down when he got home either.
