Will anyone comment on the braking system on a 2210
The foot pedal v/s transmission v/s four wheel drive. When is it mechanical and when is it Hydro and where is it?

The braking on the 2210 is really about the same as any other hydro transmission tractor. The actual foot brake is not used very much except for park brake. The hydro does most of the braking for you unless you are on a steep hill or have a heavy load behind you. This is inherent of the design of the hydro. As far as the four wheel drive, when it is engaged, you get the additional braking advantage of having traction at all four wheels. There are only brakes on the rear wheels so braking ability is limited to the amount of traction at the rear wheels when 4wd is disengaged. Of course the way your tractor is ballasted can have a dramatic effect on braking ability also. ....
