Wow, if those Botas ride that nice I'll trade my Deeres off today. I wonder if his disabilaty insurance company aproves of his fund raiser? We have a summer home in Clermont, Iowa where most the movie "The Strait Story" was shot. This movie was a true story of Mr. Strait driving his JD rider from Laurens Ia. to his brother's home somewhere in SW Wisconsin. Deere did give him a new mower after they heard of the movie and the mower he drove and the homemade trailer he built are on display in Clermont. Not a real blockbuster movie, just kind of fun to watch. Hope this fellow doesn't get ran over. Frank. ....

Geez..... he could have saved money with a B7400 and get 12 MPH.
Besides that.... does it make any sense to spend $12K on a tractor when you can't afford back surgery? ....

Hardwood..thanks for the tip about the "The Straight Story" movie. I immediately went to my local video place and rented it. I was a good watch. Very simple and just a fun movie. BTW, it was the last movie that Richard Farnsworth made. He committed suicide a year later after suffering from terminal cancer. ....
