Just getting into small utility tractor market, need 20-25-hp. and wondered if Kioti was a reputable quality tractor. Made in South Korea. I had not heard of the brand till today, is it of same quality as Kubota or Deere? I have a Farmall 300 utility tractor, it's a dinasaur but runs good. My "throw away" 3-year-old Murray wide-body ground its little transmission up and I need something maneuverable around the yard and barn for about 3 acres.

There are a lot of comments from people on this site who like Kioti and Branson. Check out DK35vince photos. Based on discussions I see here those are the two brands I would check out besides Kubota, JD, and NH. ....

Thanks for your opinion, ncrunch32. I have been feeding on any information I see on Kioti CK20's. I've ascertained one would sell new with manual tran for "just under $9600, which would be a good price if the quality is under that Kubota-colored paint. I know it's not a Deere, but how much would I be sacrificing for that price? ....

Kioti is definately worth a look and test drive.I,ve been very happy with my DK 35.
Check out several brands, compare specs, prices, dealers and go from there.
Check out the Kioti website for local dealers. ....

I have decided overnite to call parts outlet for a new transmission/transaxle to replace the cheap Murray throwaway and use my 17-horse riding mower for around the house and barn yards. I will then (soon) sell the running Murray (throwaway) and at this point buy a Kioti CK20. There is a dealer within 10 miles of my farm. Thanks to you two guys, I have been able to make an informed decision. And (ck) will probably then become a paying member. Txs again. ....
