Hello all!! I posted a message yday asking about the JD4100 vs Kubota B2100. I thank everyone for the insightful info given, very helpful!! In the post I also inquired about the NH TC21. Got a lot of responses about the JD and Kubota, but not much about the New Holland. I've searched the archives, but don't see much about the TC21. Can anyone give any opinions or experiences w/ this particular model? Also dad is looking at a used either Ford or New Holland 1520. Found info about some bigger sizes, but not much on this particular model. Again any opinions or experiences would be much appreciated! If you have questions about the what he's will be using the tractor for or about the used 1520, I posted all that on my previous posting titled "HELP! Need advice....." Thanks again for all you help!!

I only have about 50 hrs. on a TC21D. So far the tractor has been super. I have used it mostly for mowing and loader work with some box blade work on my road . I have been impressed with the pulling power with the box blade, I can pull a 5' box blade full of gravel up my drive. I can't compare the TC to any of the other compacts as most of my tractor time has been on a MF 135. If you have any specfic questions feel free to E-mail me. ....

I have a TC 18 that I purchased new at the end of June. This is my 1st compact. I have about 25 hours on it from mowing with a 5' woods rear finish mower and moving tons of sand for the base of my new pole barn with a back blade. This tractor is 4wd and hydro and has worked beyond my expectations. If you want one characteristic that proves strength of the machine, look at 3 pt. lift capacity at 24" behind lift point. The JD4100 is rated at 930 lbs., the B1700 thru the B2400 are rated at 1015 lbs. and the TC 18 & 21 are rated at 1265 lbs. I am really satisfied with my decision to buy the TC 18. I'm sure that all of these machines are good, but here in southcentral Michigan I got the best price on the TC. Good Luck, Jim ....
