Boy am I glad I found you guys.... I have probably made 10 trips to the local Kub and JD dealers and can't make the move. I have about 2.5 acres to Mow in WA (grass grows fastttt in the Spring) plus I have about a four acre pasture and 4 horses.

I am really close to pulling the trigger on the 2210 with a bagging attachment and loader.Should I get a 54 " deck or the 60"/ Isn't the 60 going to be too wide to get arouind stuff?

Any experiences or biases would be a real help! :-=)

Morning Scott I don't think it's an issue of getting around things rather than between them. If you do not have narrow clearance issues I would go to the 60".

The 60" will get you closer to stuff so you should have less trimming. You get a nicer overlap with the wider deck which will give you a little more space betwee wheel tracks.

If you mow your fence lines you should be able to do a reall nice job. ....

I do not have or use a mower on mine so this may or may not be of interest. Most of the people I talk to get the bigger deck. Many feel that the smaller one is less desirerable and will adversly effect resale or trade in value. This may well be a moot point if the smaller one suits your needs significantly better. I agree the question is between not around as the larger mower should allow you to cut closer to trees. The other question is the tract on the tractor. You definately need the mower wider than the tract as the grass pushed down by the front and rear wheels will not necesarily stand up on the next pass. I would not worry about power as most 60" take only about 15 HP. ....
