OK, bought a B5200 with belly. Beginner on this. Removed mower and refurbished. Didn't cut with a darn. Resharpened blades. Still lousy. Turns out I didn't twist the belt, thus blades turning backwards. Hope I made your day.

In the immortal words of Homer Simpson.... "DOOHHHHH!!!"
We all do silly things like that, don't feel bad... Just be carefull and make sure that "She who remebers these things" never finds out... and if she does tell her thats the Japanese setup, on the other side of the world it has to spin the other way.......
Best of luck. ....

Many machines need that extra twist to make them right! Thanks for the chuckle! Been there before! ....

I have to ask a really dumb question. I have a bush hog for my Kubota. I have a B6200 with a standard clutch, which also is the clutch for the PTO, so the only time the hog works is when the tractor is in gear (or neutral) and the clutch is up.
My question is, I have heard of double clutching and active PTO and stuff like that. What can I do to rig my machine so the hog stays on even when my foot hits the clutch? How do I double clutch it? How can I rig up my rig so it has an active PTO so the hog doesn't stop every time I want to shift gears? It's a real pain, especially since I'll be going along in 3rd gear on easy brish and then hit a patch of tough brush, so I have to shift into 1st gear to get the brush, but when I do that the hog loses power at a time when you need power the most.
I don't know much about tractors really, I just pretend I do so I look good on the internet. ....
