I haven't been successful in loading the John Deere website in many months.Am I accessing the wrong place? I can ping both sites but no web page everseems to load. Doesn't seem to matter whether I use Netscape or IE4.Anyone else have this problem?

I thought it was just my computer/browser or ISP. All I get is "Transfering data from www.deere.com" but nothing else ever happens. ....

I have accessed the site using IE 5.0 and Netscape 4.0 with no problems via proxy server and home ISP. The Deere web site is good size and will take some time to download if you are not using 56K connections (you and your ISP). good luck ....

If you are using a Intranet Connection the site may be blocked by you firewall proxy server.Deere has been up continuously foas long as I can remember ....

Have you tried to upgrade lately. I just logged on to deere.com took about 10seconds and the entire site was ready to go. dump the 8088 and the 14400 modemJust kidding. sometimes websites will give you an interuption notice if a switch at the phone company is going bad and your in that switch. Nortel switches arereal bad about that. contacting the phone company will do no good because youhave no idea where the switch is. ....
