I am going to purchase a bx 2200 next week (found one with 60" deck only 100 hours for $7500) i want to put on a loader and was quoted by koyker $2118.00 for the loader with double cylinder, hose kit and joystick valve. Does that sound like a good package, price? do i need the joystick valve or is there one on the tractor, i neglected to look closely at the controls.

The loader control valve comes with the loader, not the tractor.
With a little bargaining you should be able to get a Kubota loader for about the same price. I think the full list price is about $2400.
There is nothing weak or deficient in the design of the factory loader.
I can only guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't some hidden costs or problems in trying to install a non-Kubota loader on this model tractor.
Maybe Art White can add to this.... Art, Have you ever even seen a BX with a non-OEM loader? ....

KOYKER LOADERS USUALLY HAVE GREATER LIFT CAPACITY THAN THE OEM'S. IF YOUR JUST USING YOUR LOADER TO SPREAD MULCH GET THE KUBOTA, BUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO WORK IT GET THE KOYKER. ....

Stick with the Kubota loader. It is built and designed specifically for that tractor and will help with resale value as well. Yes, there are hidden cost and problems with aftermarket loaders. Even if there is more lift capacity available for an aftermarket loader, remember Kubota designed the loader to match the tractor's capabilities. ....
