BX 22 with 54" deck and a 4' Curtis blade with power angle. Quoted $ 19400 complete. Thoughts as to this dealer pricing?

My price quote for the BX22 T/L/B combo is $15,750
Are you sure you want a 48” blade on a 48” in wide tractor? If you angle it your wheels will be running outside the path you are cutting.
I am getting Kubota’s manual angle 54” with the quick detach system for $800 more. I would prefer the 60” blade but it only comes with the power angle.

I never considered that but your absolutely right. This is exactly why experience counts. I had better get this rectified. Then again why would the dealer not address this from the start? The bare tractor price was 16k. That's not far off from your quote. Any idea what the Kubota blade with hydraulic angle was going for? Thanks for your knowledge it's greatly appreciated. ....

I don't remember exactly, but I think it was about 3 times the price of the manual angle. Make sure you get the BX22 with the 4 way control valve on the loader. The standard three way valve will not run a blade. I think if you look at the Kubota front blade you might appreciate how easily it goes on and off the tractor. No wrenches... worth some extra bucks in my book. ....
