I am looking at a 1987 755 with 525 Hrs MFWD with a 60 deck, it's a 9.8 out of a 10 on condition, what should I pay for a unit like that? in Iowa?
Also I would like to have a loader on it, can I find one?
Or maybe someone out there has a tractor they would like to sell me for my "Hilly" 4A lot? it would have to be brought to my door in Iowa!
Any advise on the 755 would be Greatly Appreciated! Scott

My local dealer is selling a 855 MFWD with 425 hours. This machine is in great shape, but no mower or loader. He is asking $9,750. This machine has 4 more hp than the one you're looking at. I don't know if this helps, but there it is.
Some facts: (from product brochure)
JD755
21 hp
5.6 gpm hydraulics
hydrostatic two-range
live pto
1835 lbs
Takes a JD70 loader
I believe they made these machines untill 1998. My brochure is from 1996. Your actual specs may be different for a 1987. ....

I'm getting ready to trade in my 1997 755 with 275hrs on a 990. Going from 2 to 12 acres and need a bigger tractor. Mines has the loader, 4' bushhog, and 4'boxblade. It's a great 4wd tractor that's never missed a beat. The dealer is offering me $8500 on trade. Maybe we could work something out if I bought the 990 up there. Guys,
The 755 is a sought after unit, I just traded my 1992 755 with 4 wheels drive,loader,60 in deck. only 325 hours good shape-get this 11K was the trade in. Now I realize its omewhat inflated but on my ne 4310 with 48 backhoe,4 wheel,hydro,60 deck and 430 loader the difference was 18K that I had to pay.
Try to get more for your 755 trade. ....
