I have a BX2200 that is used to mow and do some dirt work and plow snow. The tractor does not seem quite big enough to do heavy work. My local dealer has shot me a deal on trading up to a B7500. Is there any disadvantages of this? How does the B7500 mow with a belly mower?

Dirt, the 7500 has a slightly higher center of gravity, so if you have any side slopes to mow, the BX has a little advantage. Otherwise, I see no disadvantages to the 7500. And of course, I don't know the details of how you use a tractor or what you want it to do, but can only guess that you know if you moved on up to the 2410 (or even 2710/2910) you'd also be getting position control on the 3-point hitch as well as more power, more lifting capacity, more comfort, etc. ....

How much does the BX weigh compared to the B7500? Should the B7500 handle a rear blade better? ....

The BX and the B7500 weigh the same amount about 1350lbs. The biggest difference is bigger tires(more Traction better clearance) and bigger hydraulic pump.

The BX2200 is a subcompact tractor. the b7500 is a small compact tractor. The Bx2200's front tires are way to small as compared to the b7500. feature for feature....pay the extra money for the b7500, you will not be sorry. ....
