A local dealer has a used MF1035 with 1445 hours. It includes a loader. It is in very good condition. The dealer has a reputation for providing excellent service but is known to be very pricy. Could owners out there let me know about reliability of this model? I am slightly concerned with message posts that I have read about engine cylinder heads and possible front end problems. What would be a fair price for this? Is it too many hours? What should I be looking at with this?
I would appreciate any input. Thank you

As with most tractor price questions we need more details. Is the tractor 2 or 4 wheel drive? Is the tractor hydro, shuttle shift or reqular shift? What tires are on the machine? R4? Turf? All this are options on some tractors and affect the initial sale price and resale price.

I am sorry that I did not supply more info. The tires look like R1's, It is a regular shift, four wheel drive. I hope that this info helps you out. I do not remember the loader number. ....

New list price on the unit would have been about 16,500 with the FEL. I would look at ~ 8.5-9 K as the book value. Personally I would be trying to purchase it for less. Maybe someone can provide more exact info that is more familiar with this tractor.
