I got the utility light for my TC33D from my dealer. I needed a special bracket because of the folding ROPS. Does anyone know where to mount the bracket? There is an electrical connector on the right side. The holes in the bracket seem to line up with the hazard flasher bracket, but I don't want the utility light to block the hazard flasher.

The bracket from NH uses the same mounting holes and bolts as the hazard flasher on the right side. Its bends around the back of the ROPS, placing the work light behind the ROPS and leaving the hazard flasher unobstructed. -JeffB ....

I tried your suggestion, but the bracket and light interfere with folding the ROPS. How long should the bracket be? It looks like it would be out of the way if it was a few inches longer. ....

Hello Farmer Dan,The folding ROPS will hit the utility light on my TC33D as well.Just put one of the pins in the rear set of holes when you fold the ROPS down and it keeps it out just enough to keep it from hitting the light. ....

You can get any utility light from your local dealer or a farm supply, but you need the bracket from your dealer. I paid about $40 for both. ....

I got an after market light from Trucklite for my TC33D. I was planning on mounting it directly on the fender. It has a 4-hole bracket which would distribute the weight better. Do you think the fender is strong enough to support it? ....

I would strongly recommend spending the $5 and getting the factory bracket. Using their bracket eliminates the probability that you will break your plastic fender sometime in the future. Plastic fenders are great, but not made for what you want to do, you will eventually crack it. ....

My thought probably is covered elsewhere but electrical components on plastic mounts do have to have a second wire to ground. Most things sold today probably have two wires but some may be intended to ground through their cases to the tractor chassis.
If connection instructions aren't clear for a light that has two leads, testing for continuity to the mounting lugs will show the right connection. With the bulb removed, one lead may have continuity with a mounting lug. That's the ground side and the other lead goes to the battery. Even on plastic mounts, the ground lead should be connected to the chassis. Otherwise the case is hot and it shorts if something conductive touches both the case and chassis. If neither wire has continuity then the case is isolated and this isn't an issue. ....
