My John Deere 990 will move in low gear. I changed the fluid and filter but, no luck. Any ideas out there?

My guess is the clutch pedal free travel needs adjustment. Look under the left step and find the adjustable rod connected to the clutch pedal. Ty shortening the rod a couple of turns and see if tractor moves better. When adjusted properly, the clutch pedal should have about an inch of free travel. That means you should be able to easily push the pedal with one finger the first inch before the clutch actually starts to disengage. If it has been run too long with clutch out of adjustment, you may need a new clutch. ....
