Kubota L3010 battery cable

The Kubota L3010 positive battery cable connector has a pointed and square headed screw that seems to have two blockers, top & bottom, how does one remove the blockers?

By now you probably have your answer but for me what is blockers? Are you talking about the ears or what ever some cables have to help prevent the bolt from turning? I think my small Kubota might be like you mention and if so use a open end wrench on the nut. ....
