Hi folks, I just pulled my PHD out of the barn, hooked it to my TC33D and all I get is a hole about a foot deep. In the past unless I hit rock, it's been smooth sailing.

Any ideas??? Help!!!!!

Thanks!

Park the auger over a void (at an embankment or something) to see how far down the hitch will lower it. ....

Have you messed with the vertical links that go from the lift arms down to the lower arms? There is about 6" of travle which translates to about 28" or more travel depending where you start at.

Something may be binding or perhaps the swinging hitch is in the way. Also, if the PHD's 3pt pins have forced the lower arms out too far they hit and rest on the tires. My 33D has just a few inches of clearance with R4's.

Another thing to look for is a drive shaft that is damaged, not lubed, bent that will prevent the tubes from sliding and effectively become a stop. ....
