the hydraulic valve on a 4600 has 3 pistons( not sure what they are called) 1 makes my loader go up and down, other makes bucket curl up and down,3rd has nothing hooked to it,,,,, question is can i take plus out of 3rd one and put fittings on it so i can hook up a back hoe, will it have pressure all the time i need a pressure side and a return 3 piston has no lever hooked to it

That third "piston" is a spool valve for a third function. That function can be used, but a lever needs to be installed to use it. There would be no oil flow unless the lever is engaged. A power beyond kit is better for a backhoe. The oil flow is there all of the time. ....

I can email a pdf file of installation instructions. It also shows all parts needed. Just send me your email address. It is a fairly large file - 4.5MB. jd110_1963@yahoo.com ....
