I have a 48" Mott flail mower. I have traded up from a 46" wide tractor to a 60" one. I can't afford to replace it with a longer model. The 3pth frame is fixed as far as I can tell. Is there any technique besides adjusting the sway chains to offset this mower in relation to the rear tires to bring it even with one side or the other.

If the three point is not welded to the mower you can replace one side of the three point which would allow the mower to run behind one tire...I have a JD 950 HC which is offset similiar to an old Cub....all of my implements must be offset and I have to reweld rhe three point.....the only thing you must be careful of is the alignment of your pto. ....
