I would like to put a 72" belly mower under my 4410. I need a mower deck, mid-PTO and a lift kit. Can anyone help me out? John Deere says the kit no is LVB 25291. Somebody on the internet says I need the LVB25037. Does anyone know for sure? I have a 2002 model 4410 with hydrostatic transmission. Thanks for any info.

I don't have a kit for a mid PTO, but I "THINK" a hydro drive takes a different kit than a gear drive.
I haven't saw one in use but the new driveover decks sure look good to me. Frank. ....

I find myself in the same boat. I bought a JD 4410 and no Mid PTO. Can you do anything for me. Part # is LVB-25291. Same part number for power reverse or HST. JDparts.com says it's not available. "Please" I would really appreciate it. Thanks ....

I have an 08 3320 JD ,and put the midpoint pto into the rear diff myself ,I was surprised at how easy it was to do.
(I've only changed spark plugs before, I don't do mechanic's and very little parts change out - by the way!)
I have a 59" JD snow blower front mount and needed the front pto kit and the mid mount pto to operate it.
After close to a grands for parts and the time getting it installed ,it never snowed last year... any one want to buy an unused 59" blower...LOL!
I would like to get a middeck mower also ,how much are they ?
What do they mount to ?
....

HW;
I'm pretty sure you can price out a mid mount mower on the JD website.
I've got the mid PTO on my 4310 and always dreamed of a front mount snowblower, but it hasn't happened yet.
I don't really want to rain on your parade but I'm going to try to talk you out of the mid mount deck.
Reason 1- Mid mount decks are expensive, if you get the new Deere driveover automatic mount I'd guess you are going to top five grand. I've saw them but never saw them do the automatic mount thing.
Reason 2- Without the automatic mount thing they are a REAL pain to remove and remount. Not many other things can be done with the deck on the tractor that it isn't in the way somehow.
Reason 3- To cover the tractor tire width you need at least a 60 inch cut, that's just too wide unless your lawn is pool table flat.
My solution. You can as an example buy a Deere 345 mower with power steering, hydro drive, a 54 inch deck for 4000 for a real recent one or somewhat less for an early model.
I have two of them, both ten years old with aprox 600 hrs., and haven't spent much more than normal maintence on them.
A good friend of mine is the head of the lawn and garden dept. at a big Deere dealership. He tells me that he has lots of 345's thru the shop with well over 2000 hrs, never had an engine overhaul and still going strong.
Ok now, before someone hits on me I am not any part of a Deere dealership, own no Deere stock, just telling it like it is.
Happy Fourth of July.
Frank. ....

Well they look pretty smart under the tractor and I was thinking it might help the scalpping that happens with the brush mower and / or the 72" landpride finish mower I have - but not $5000.00 worth.
that's like the blower I have I bought it last year it was 3 yrs old ,but hadden't been used, mounted the mid pto at a grand and then the guy before me had driven over the pto shaft so that had to be replaced and once you have the blower on ; the chute swings left / right ,you can pick the blower up /dwn ,but you no longer have your buck attached ? and I do sooooo much bucket work.
I'll stick to the I 80 international blower on the 3pt, I got for 800.00 used, with a ton of life left in it. Specially for the west coast we could go 3 or 4 yr before we'll get enough snow to even use a blower. anything less then 4 inches you might as well use the plow with hydraulic tilt that mounts on the loader arms in secounds.
These blowers if you go to JD and buy all the kits it takes to put it together it was just shy of $10,000.00 ???
That's nuts ,I'll sell it and get the mid deck at par LOL! ....

I have a 60" mid mount mower on my JD4115 Compact Tractor. It works great and makes short work of mowing a large lawn. But, as others have mentioned, there are drawbacks. The mid mount mower is a bear to mount and then remove. I always dread doing it, but no choice if I want to use other attachments, the mower has to come off. Example, when using a box blade or a tiller, the mower must be removed. The problem is that you can not get the necessary lift from the three point hitch with the mower on the tractor.
So, if you want a mid mount mower, I advise you to plan on leaving it on the tractor for a while. Otherwise, you will be getting tired of mounting and dismounting the mower.

I do not have a dive over type mower deck. Those might make the task much easier. ....
