My hazard lights stopped working. I use them weekly to drive down my street. I checked the fuse and it was blown. With the tractor not running but the key turned half way, the hazard lights worked fine with a new fuse. But when I started the tractor and turned on the hazards, the fuse blew again.
Any tips on where I should trouble shoot? Would it be a short somewhere? Alternator issue?

Talisman,
I'm just guessing that you have a wire that is worn through, due to vibration.
You didn't blow a fuse until the tractor started vibrating, after starting the engine, when the bare wire made contact with the frame.
Check the wiring at those places where it goes through a hole, as well at the places where the wiring harness is secured to the frame along its path.
If you start your tractor in a garage, when it's pitch black inside -- late at night with the lights in the garage turned off -- you might see a small spark when you turn the flashers on. (This is also an easy method for checking spark-plug wires for cracks, on gasoline engines)

Thanks for the thoughts Joel.
have a 4 yard tow behind dump trailer and the wireing plug that attaches to the tractor allways gives me a hard time. I need to cock it at an angle to get the lights to work. I took that apart this AM and found loose lugs and wires....
Put it back togather and now my hazards work. At least for now. ....
