I just bought a 1988 John Deere 950.
Around 2800 hours on it
There are a set of red lights on dash.
After using it with my brush hog for a couple of hours I noticed one of the red lights was lite?
I do not have a manuel for this tractor so I was wondering what the first light on the left was?

I can't help you with your question regarding the light on your dash panel, but I can help you find a manual for your tractor.
A shop manual for your tractor is about 31 dollars.

I ordered a manual but have not received it yet.
I have a shop manual but it dose not say anything about the lights.
If you don't mind please look at your manual in case I don't get my manual any time soon.

The left light should be- temperature.
Middle light- charge
Right light- oil ....

My manual is a 1985 not 81 and it said there were Oil, Charge, and ON. The manual well be here if you need it.
