Depends a lot on your usage. If I lived in Temecula I might not want an air cooled engine.
The RTV is a good work place hauler, maybe the best out there, but off road? Nope. Look elsewhere. Very poor performance in sand, snow and mud. I bet over half the HP the engine produces is soaked up by that complicated hydrostatic transmission.
I have written extensively on my experiences with the RTV on this site. Do a topic search and you will find lots of info/opinions.
If I were to go back the the side by side UTV market, I would look very hard at the Kawasaki Diesel Mule.
If you plan to use the thing on hard paved surfaces, make sure the rear axle has a differential.
The Yamaha Rhino, as an example, has a straight rear axle and is not suitable for operation on paved surfaces. My Honda Rincon falls into the same class. It will grind away the rubber turning on paved surfaces.

Kubotadave, I have an RTV and am very happy with it. I looked at all models out there and found the RTV to meet my needs for toughness and dependability. It is not an ATV, but I didn't buy it for that. We use it every day on the farm and it handles everything we throw at it. Best wishes. Dave/ ....
