I took off my 46BH to install my tiller tonight, and this is the first time I've done this - where the 3PH needed to be installed on the new 46 BH brackets. My pictures 12 and 13 show about a 1.5" gap on the draft link pins that hold the lower link and the sway link. I'm gussing I should not have this much (if any) gap, and that's why there is so much sway in the 3PH. Should I be installing a bushing on the draft link pin - if so - would it go in between the sway link and the lower 3PH link - or between the tire and the sway link? (Or is there something totally different I'm missing?)
DRankin, I'm, guessing you've taken off your BH and installed the 3PH recently?
Thanks, Jason

I'm not familiar with your set up, but my TC33D has something like it. Mine has adjustable sliding sway braces on the lower arms. I have a about 1/2" slop each side. I prefer it this way because that 1/2" translates into about 3" at the implement end which is good when hitting something and bouncing off it rather than taking on a solid, hard hit. Perosanlly unless the arms are hitting the tires I wouldn't worry about it. ....

Yup. You are missing a piece on each side.
There should be a spacer there made from the same material as the the tube with the sway chains. When it is in place there is no slack in the system.
If you can't find the parts laying around somewhere, I would imagine that you could put a stack of large washers in the same place. ....

You need part number M808011... they are 13 bucks for a pair.
I can send you a Jpeg of the parts in that area and how they are supposed to go together if you wish. ....

These guys are 100% right and maybe you won't noticed the poor adjustments as much with a Tiller, but put on a back scaper blade and try to level a driveway and if those turnbuckle adjustments are NOT snug enough and the spacers are NOT where they should be, you will see the blade bounce and jump and do a lousy job.... Been there, done that.... ....

Thanks DRankin. I'll call the dealer later today and see if they can't send me some, seeing as how they didn't give them back to me. In the meantime, I have some bronze bushings that will do.
earthwrks, winwiper - thanks, but the 3PH was rubbing against my rear tires, so I definately need to cut down on the play. ....
