Does anyone know what the margins are on Kubota pricing? Should I expect to be able to negotiate greater than 10% from suggested list prices?

I am not sure about Kubota, but I suspect like autos there is a carrying cost for the stock. The margins are better if the tractor is fresh off the truck, maybe as large as 30% if they go to MSRP and decreases as the tractor sits on the lot. Most dealers are looking for about a 10% margin and will acknowledge they make their money off other equipment, used tractors, parts and repairs. Equipment needs to be moving off the lot to make money.
A poor dealer will quote MSRP and then discount the tractors that have some hours on them or have sat on the lot for 6 months to a year. ....
