I have been quoted $400.00 to swap out my dynamo for the 40 amp kit. Has anyone bought part number 16241-64012 and completed this installation?
The questions I have are:

1. Is this kit jut as simple as un bolt the dynamo and bolt on the altrnator (2 wires out of dynamo). I have priced out this part $255.oo from Tractor Smart. I am not trying to steal work from my dealer just do work that I am capable of doing. Does this change affect my warranty if it is an approved Kubota Part?

2. I was told the voltage regulator is internal in the alternator and that most dealers leave the old one in.

I plan on adding more lights. This is a personal choice. I need the higher amperage for my light bar. If anyone could share information on this topic it would be tremendously helpful.

Please post here or send me an Email

Thank You !!
