More New Owner Questions For B7510

I have a couple more (not the last ) questions for our forum members.

1. I am seriously considering doing the alternator upgrage for more lighting. My delaer in CT wants $400.oo+ to do this. Is there an alternator "kit" that an average person could install? Would this affect my warranty if I put it on. Hs anyone faced this issue? Where would I buy?

2. What products are favored by users for keeping the fuel system free of water and microbes?

Thoughts or opinions are always appreciated.
