Could you please tell me if the 4-in-1 bucket for the 430 and 460 loaders will also fit the 440 loader when used with the 870 tractor. Thank you for your time Dennis CisarE-Mail Address denniscisr@snowcrest.net

Hello Dennis, what exactly is a 4-n-1 bucket. Haven't looked it up anywhere
yet but see it mentioned quite often on this site. How would this be run,
(by the bucket uni-control or would it require a new valve assembly? Would
appreciate any information. I own a 440 loader on a 1070 and would like to
add a grapple fork to the bucket. Am woudering if I will need additional
valves. Have a back hoe with propper plumbing to operate the hoe. Or will
this valve work? Thank you, DUANEVOLK@AOL.COM

Duane, Click on the link to Carver Equipment and look up the 4 in 1 and the grapple buckets. Carver has pictures of both on their web site. ....

The easiest way to and a 4 in 1 bucket if you don't have 3 scv's on your tractor is to install a electrohydraulic add-on valve. What this does is and a push button on or around your DSCV control, and lets say you in install it on your bucket control circuit. When you just move the DSCV side to side it will control your bucket, put if you push the button and move the lever it would control the grappler. Your backhoe hydraulics are different on a John Deere they are Non-controlled in that your valves are on the backhoe attachment, all the power beyond kit is a hose that attaches to the hydraulic feed and a hose to return this feed.
