If interested, you can click on my photos and see one picture where I used a 1" copper 45 and diverted the exhaust towards the front and down, so now the exhaust is missing the loader and front blade.

Hey you guys with 2210's,
You should look carefully at some of jd2210's modifications. Not only is this exhaust mod clever, look at the deluxe seat and inverted ROPS lights. I suppose you can guess why he did that!
Cheers

I have a raised exhaust system for my 7800, but don't use it because of concerns about increased back pressure in the exhaust manifold. Doesn't look like you need to be concerned about that with this minor modification.
Can I ask, why copper? Seems like an odd choice of material for an exhaust pipe. ....

Copper was an easy fit (right size, cheap, perfect fit) and a breeze to braze. ....

jd2210 - I was wondering about the seat you have on your machine. If I have one major complaint about my 2210 it would be the seat, or at least the ride (or lack thereof) that it provides. Those heavy duty rubber shock absorbing bellows below the seat just don't seem to do the job when it comes to schock absorbing. My derierre seems to take the lion's share of the shock.
Anyhow I was wondering where you got your seat and if it has improved the ride over the stock seat that you replaced it with ?
Any feedback is appreciated. ....

Here is a message, I sent to one of the other 2210 owners.
When I purchased my 2210 and had traded in my X585, I was so disappointed in the ride/seat combination when compared to the experience on the 2210, that I darn near when back and got a X595, but I just couldn't bring myself to purchasing a less capable machine coupled with the thought of having to spend more on on the X595 vs the 2210; hence, I decided to just purchase the suspension section and X-series seat and redo that aspect of the tractor. My 2210 rides just like the X-series and my two neighbors have since upgraded their machines, including one who is a Deere dealer.
I can send anyone who wants more pictures of the seat/suspension, just email me.
