I've been looking at several items I'd like to eventually get for my 4700 - backhoe, grapple or 4 in 1 bucket and a tiller. I've priced them new and that comes to a small chunk of change. Is used equipment worth the money? WHere can you find items like this used?
I've looked around my area but have come up with nothing so far.
Any help here would be appreciated

You might try Auctions in your area or if your area has an equipment magazine or swap&trade book you could advertise.
Here in Maine and the bordering states we have a book called Uncle Henry's , comes out every Thursday for $1.50 that includes a free 30 word advert. It's an important book around here:)

Talk to a local dealer, red, green, blue or orange.

If they want your money they will find what you are looking for. Besides, they know all ther other dealers in the area, as well as what equipment people have. It is common for people to pass a comment to their dealer that a certain piece of equipment they have is not being used and they might want to sell it, or they are interested in buying something, but the dealer doesn't want to take his unused implements on trade. By putting the two people together he's a double winner, he got two sales and made two cutomers happy.

Best of luck. ....
