Tractor JD4100Tires - R-4 (not loaded)Conditions - 3 acres, high and dry, no low spots or wet areas. The yard has been in for many years, the majority, about two acres were over grown as recently as 10 years ago, it was brushogged into submision.I have mowed 3 times now and have no turf damage. R-4s work on my yard. Under these circumstances the R-4s are a good choice. Very helpfull in the mud or when doing loader work. Would I trust them on a sod yard or new seeded yard? Probably not.
