I went out side this morning and walked by my tractor and
noticed left rear tire had lost it 's bead seal on the rim?
I took it to a tire repair shop, said they are getting a
lot of this from our recent cold spell. -20 to -30 air temp.
Has anyone ever had this happen?

It is a very common occurance especially for people that seldom check their tire pressures.
I spend many hours on the road in a tractor trailer and you would be amazed at the amont of cars and suvs that blow by on tires that look very soft. Take it to minus 20f and many do not get out of their drives.
Check your tires and check them often in the winter! ....

Will do. It 's one of those things you know you should do
but put off until your fingers are sticking to the steel.
It was good in a way,I discovered the lugs were not very tight on all four. guess that's another to do on a new tractor. Plan on going over everything. ....

Grinder...... are you running R-4's? I have had them slip off the bead in warm weather.
Installing an inner tube would solve future problems. ....

I normally don't give my wife's car inside heated parking and I'd just checked her air pressure a week ago on a Sunday morning and all was fine at 33lbs. I was walking by her car wednesday nite and thought they looked low so I got the gauge out and they were at 23lbs nearly on the money so out in the cold I go and added ten lbs. Today while in the garage again they are at 43lbs. Yes the cold does make a difference. There was 65 degree's differnce between the cold to the warm. ....

Yes I am running R-4 tires. I had them dismount it and put a sealer on the rims bead. they thought this would take care
of it? "The lack of use and the cold weather" I've only put
12 hrs on it. Guess I better watch the pressure closer.

It's good to periodically check tightness of most everything, especially the loader mounts and also inspect for stress fractures around welded joints. I do that about twice a year and more often for wheel lugs. For inspecting the loader frame, I alternately lift the front wheels and hold down pressure to spread any cracks that I might otherwise miss.
I like low pressures during the winter because they increase traction until the pressures become so low that the tread on the ground distorts. I think that R4's are less tolerant that other tires to low pressures due to their stiff sidewalls. From somewhere I think I've heard of radial R4's and such a thing might be more flexible. Inner tubes, higher pressures or sealer likely are far cheaper solutions than new tires though. ....
