Just tires would be the cheapest. Do you need rims to? ....

Speaking of tires for Kubotas, has anyone ever placed larger wheels on the BX series tractors? Man those are SMALL tires on that. ....

Three reasons not to mess with the tire size on the BX series...

1. Gearing. Since the front and rear tires are different sizes and the tractor is equipped with 4WD, changing the tire size could cause a binding situation.

2. The mid mount mower. When the front wheels are turned to the max left or right position, there is very little clearance with the mower deck.

3. Fender and axle clearance. There is not much room under the rear fender for the back tire or between the front rim and the bevel gear housing on the front axle. ....

Excellent points. Thanks. With no MMM, I thought perhaps something from Kubota (versus a Home Engineering Inc). But you're correct in that someone would try that and result in the binding situation - big trouble.
Thanks again! ....

On my BX22 there were a couple of places where the rear tires came within 3/4 of an inch of the backhoe frame.

If you didn't have a backhoe to worry about you would still have to cut a lot af sheet metal off the rear fenders to get a larger tire in there.

Better to trade it for a machine with bigger wheels. ....
