A dealer in PA has a used B2100 w/179 hrs. FEL, 60" mower with turbo bagging system, and 60" snow blower. I'm unfamiliar with Kubota equipment, but this setup has what I need. Asking $12,500. Appreciate any input on pricing.
Thanks, Jim

The model that replaced that is the B-7500. The B-2100 does have position control hitch that many people like. If you can see it and feel that it is right it is a fair price. ....

Art-
Thanks for the response, but what is a position control hitch? I'll be traveling 25 miles to look at this machine this weekend. Is the B2100 historically a reliable tractor, and anything in particular to watch out for?
Thanks, Jim ....

The simple explanation: Position control hitches have a numbered scale and repeatable settings.
If, for instance, you determine that your rear blade is just touching the ground when your hitch is set at 4.25.... Then every time you reset at 4.25 it will return to the same vertical position.
Other, less expensive, hitches have three settings: up, down and stop. So if you want that blade to just skim the surface then you have to swivel around and eyeball it each time you drop it to get the setting you want. ....

The B-2100 is a good tractor and we have many of them out there working with no problems. I think it looks like a good package to get started with. ....

Thanks Art, thanks Mark for your input. I'll check out the B2100 this weekend. I'm not looking forward to the outside air temp though, expected to be in the low teens Sat. here in central PA. ....

Art Question
Can you get a postion control kit for a b7500. I noticed it didn't have one when i bought it. I have used a lot of tractors and this was the 1st not to have one. I have a large number of 3pt attachments coming. So it would be nice to have one. thanks ....

How about this one! I'm green to that question. One of the things Kubota is kind of coping deere inis the full frame tractor design. Sorry about this. But instead of making big molds for cast iron which has a high failure rate do to sand, temperatures and many other uncontrolables. they are making frames and using machined metal more installed and protected by the frame. Back to the hitch. Many of the new tractors just use external hydraulic cylinders to move the arms. The cylinder for years has been casted in the top housing of the rearend which was also cast iron. I would wonder that you can't convert it over but I would do more studing to move up to the Quarter inching control as a better system. You should try it as I think you would find it so simple and accurate. ....
