I want to buy a 3430 however there are none in my area to be found. The dealer has a 3830 HST which I like but the rear tire size, 14.9 x 24 limits the minimum width to 66". Can smaller tires by put on this model in order to get closer to 60" width?

The 3830 rear is the larger one from it's bigger brother. It will never really be able to get down to the smaller size. I don't know how fast you need it but they do have a priority system for sold orders. What you want in about two weeks from factory if they are there at all. If not ask him how long. You will likely run into width problems with many trailers with a 72" MMM. ....

Most landscaper style trailers use a 77 to 78" width on the inside of the wheels and with the outlit spout raised and held with a rubber bungee cord you can drive them in although tight for manuvering. ....

I ran into this width problem on my trailer with the 72" MMM on my 4410. Even with the grass deflector chute hooked up and out of the way; the MMM is still about 2" to wide. My trailer is about 77" wide. Next trailer I get will be wide enough to accomodate this problem. ....
