Hello all,
I own a Nortrac 204C tractor with a NT620 Loader installed.
I have a Hyd leak :(
On the Right Side of the engine (as you are sitting in the drivers seat)
Just below the Alternator, from what looks like the HYD pump, about center, there is a constant drip, when I lift the loader bucket, a stream flows out of the center of the pump. My questions are as follows.
Is this the HYD Pump? Seal let go? Is the seal replaceable, If not where do I get al new or rebuilt pump? Is there anything I should watch out for while replacing?
Thanks for any and all info.

Yup, that's the pump. If the housing's not cracked, you might be able to get by with a simple rebuild kit. The round housing in front of it is the drive gear. Remove the hoses from the pump, then unbolt the pump from the drive gear housing. The pump should then pull right out. Clean up the pump, then inspect the housing. If it's cracked, order a replacement pump. If not, order a rebuild kit. Northern Tools sold the tractor, they should be able to supply both. Matter of fact, I'm pretty sure they provide limited "tech support" for their tractors too.

Thanks for the Info Kind Sir.
I will pull the pump tomorrow, and check out the housing.
I did contact Northern Tools and they said to contact NorTrac directly.
I do not know If I am allowed to post their number or not here?

I didn't know their tractor folks had a dedicated number. So yes, I think it would be a good idea to post the number here - for other NorTrac owners who don't know that they can call straight in.

I own a Nortrac 204C tractor, and I think I need to replace the Hydraulic seal in the Pump.
Where can I buy one?

I pulled my pump, it was not too bad :)
Cleaned it up, I cannot see where it was leaking, must be a seal somewhere in the middle, weep seam?
I will call Nortrac tomorrow and see how much a rebuild kit will cost.
I will update this thread with my progress.

That's encouraging progress. Given that this is a common issue with these Chinese pumps, it stands to reason that NorTrac should stock the rebuild kits. But if they try to sell you a whole new pump, the same rebuild kit should be available from any reputable Jinma dealer. You've got Keno and WorkHorse right there in Arizona.

I talked to a guy at Northen tractor and he sold me a rebuild kit for $18.71. Should be here in 3 to 4 business days.
He also said to check the quick connects and check the system, if when I use the loader or the back blade, watch for hyd lines jumping and if they jump then I have a block in the sump or the system?
What do you think?

Well, he sorta generalized. It's not uncommon for lines to "jump" once as control valves open/close. That's caused by the rapid acceleration/deceleration of the fluid. He probably meant that blockage should be suspected if/when you see that "jump" while the valves are fully open (when fluid should be moving).

What would you use as a Gasket material? Or do you think a gasket will come with the rebuild kit?

Everything you need to rebuild the pump itself should be in the kit. If you want to cut your own gasket to go between the pump housing and the drive housing, any gas/oil resistant bulk gasket material will do. Or were you asking about some other gasket?

Sir,
I was not sure about the gasket that goes between the pump and the engine housing, I will get some gasket material.
Still have not gotten the rebuild kit yet, hopefully soon.
Thanks again for all your help!

Not hard at all to put in.
less than $20 and I am all set.
