I'm in the market for a versatile tractor to pull a grooming mower (5 acres). Would like the tractor to be versatile enough to be used with sprayer, post hole augger, box blade, etc. Local dealer reccomends 5203. Any ideas? Any known problems. From what I've read, the 03 series tractors are fairly new to the market, so there may not be much feedback out there. Any help is appreciated however.

Thanks,
Bob

Here is a link to a thread about some very similar tractors another member was considering. Lots of good info. about orange and green tractors there. Might help with your decision. ....

The 5000 03 Series tractors are John Deere's baseline ag tractors. If you are wanting a basic 50 hp class collar shift ag tractor light on the bells and whistles; they are a good buy. The above post can give you some back ground on other features such as a power reverser and 4WD if you have not considered these options. They are not absolutely required but sure do come in handy in certain uses. ....
