My hydrolics on the 3 pt. hitch is not comming up. I want to check the bypass valve but do not know where it is located. I did change the filter.

Have no idea on the location but you also did check the fluid level, correct? ....

I changed the fluid when I put the new filter in. Level is good. The oil got hot when I was haying and boiled over. Had the draft lever on the 3 pt. hitch in the wrong position I guess. Don't really understand the way it work yet. On the top position it cuts out when it's raised all the way. Where it was you could still here the pump straining when the control lever was at full up position. I guess that's why the oil got hot. It worked good for a while after that.
Tractor is new to me, alway had older deere or IH. ....
