Is it normal to have brakes on the right side only?
If put in 4 wheel lock, brakes work on both sides.
On steep hills, it's a real problem.

Think about it. If the brakes work on the right side and you lock the rear axle they are going to work on the left side too, because the right side is holding the left side. Have you adjusted the left side? Very rare for them not to work at all. Clutch puller thread is 9/16 fine ....

You adjust the brake arms on each side of the transaxle. Take the spring off and move the fork front to back, there should be less than 1/4 inch play between the dowel that goes thru the fork and the adjusting nuts on the brake shaft. Adjust by tightening the nut and jam nut on the rod until there is around 1/8 inch play in the fork when moved front to back. ....

Looking at my setup, I don't have any linkage on the left side. Guess that explains my problem.
