L2950 Electrical problem

My L2950 will not start with the key. I never have had a problem except with intermittant problems with the headlights, oil and temp indicators. Probably just a bad connection. Anyway, If I jump the terminals on the starter it will start. I think maybe a bad ignition switch or the netural safty switch on on the foward/reverse lever. Any ideas???? Thanks Steve

Steve, It sounds to me like you have it figured out; you're just going to have to trace it down to the right one; bad connection, bad ignition switch or neutral safety. ....
