Why are the CNH tractors called boomers ? I have seen/heard them called that for a long time, Just curious as to why.

They were introducted as boomers when they replaced the older tractors. I am not sure why they choose the name maybe they wanted to play on the baby boomers that are most likely to be the buyers in this country (USA).

So it was just a name that the marketing folks at CHN stuck on them ? OK, thanks for the info, I thought there might be a story behind the boomer handle.
